Joe Flasher

Mr Joe Flasher is a returning member of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of DE Africa. Joe is a rocket scientist and engineer, currently leading Development Seed in pioneering new technologies and data products.

Joe holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics and has contributed to a range of high-profile projects, including working on the Space Shuttle and helping develop satellite imagery technologies used today.

While living in Mongolia, Joe played a key role in building the country’s first publicly accessible API and social media platform for air pollution.

Most recently, as the VP of Engineering at iStrategyLabs, he led a large team in delivering exceptional experiences for globally recognized brands.
