Mr Fernando Ferreyra is the Director of Software Development at Development Gateway, where he has worked since 2008. With over 26 years of experience, he has overseen more than 35 ongoing international projects, focusing on sustainable, open-source technology solutions for sectors including public finance, agriculture, health, and education across Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Fernando's expertise includes software development, knowledge management, GIS, and M&E. He has led numerous high-impact projects for organizations such as the UN, UNICEF, EITI, and USAID, particularly in developing tools for data visualization, reporting, and monitoring for government and development partners. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computation Systems from Colegio Universitario IES Siglo 21 (unfinished).

Fluent in English and Spanish, Fernando brings extensive experience in both technical leadership and international client management.
