Dr. Seydina Ousmane Sene has over 13 years of experience in economic development, policy and governance, water and sanitation, and public health risk assessment in Africa. Since 2017, he has led major projects for governments, private sector, and civil society organizations in Senegal and West Africa. He has worked with the Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development Data to bridge data gaps and promote progress on the SDGs in LMICs.
Seydina has served as a lead technical advisor on SDGs, collaborating with Senegal's government, UNICEF, and the French Agency of Development. He currently advises Senegal's Ministry of Economic Planning on partnerships, economic growth, and sustainable development. Seydina holds a PhD in Applied Economics and has expertise in econometrics, fiscal policy, international trade, food security, and development finance. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Sine Saloum Elhadji Ibrahima Niass.
